High Court in Western Cape set to rule over New Year’s Eve fireworks

# The High Court in Western Cape is set to rule over New Year’s Eve fireworks today. The V&A Waterfront has announced that  its New Year’s Eve fireworks display of five minutes will go ahead as planned after it successfully appealed the City of Cape Town’s decision to withdraw its noise exemption permit. The Cape of Good Hope SPCA have cried foul over the planned display after word spread that an application in terms of the Explosives Act had been approved by the SAPS.
