Government launches new initiatives to address GBV [SOUND]

# The government has launched new measures to tackle gender-based violence, including online protection order applications, better forensic labs, and improved court facilities for victims. The 16 Days of Activism for no Violence against Women and Children campaign was officially launched yesterday in Rustenburg, North West, and runs until 10 December. In his keynote address, deputy president Paul Mashatile said the government also continues to support civil society organisations and victims through financial aid and psychosocial services:
