# The GOOD Party says the Constitutional Court has made it clear that it is the duty of government, at the various levels, to address inherited spatial injustice as part of their housing programmes. The court recently found that Cape Town’s implementation of the National Housing Programme was unconstitutional. This followed a protracted legal battle between a group of long-time residents of Bromwell Street, Woodstock, and the metro. GOOD’s secretary-general, Brett Herron, says the metro’s housing plan has failed to adequately prepare for extensive upgrading:
