# Gauteng police commissioner, Elias Mawela has commended the work that has been done by the detectives from family violence, child protection and sexual offences units for securing a combined 90 life imprisonment terms and two-thousand-791 years in prison sentences. This comes after successful investigation of over 100 cases from January to this month. Police spokesperson, Brenda Muridili says Mawela congratulated the detectives for removing 94 men from the communities of Gauteng:
