# The City of Tshwane is set to elect a new mayor today, with former mayor, the DA’s Cilliers Brink and ActionSA’s Nasiphi Moya as the two nominees. Brink, who accepted the nomination, was ousted two weeks ago following an ANC-led vote of no confidence after holding office for 18 months. Council speaker Mncedi Ndzwanana says voting will take place through a secret ballot and seven Electoral Commission observers will oversee the process:
