# Five people were killed in a crash involving a petrol tanker and a light vehicle at the intersection of Klipriver and Swartkoppies road in Alberton in Ekurhuleni last night. Ekurhuleni emergency services and crews from the City of Johannesburg received a call from an off duty firefighter about the accident. On arrival, both vehicles were on fire. Ekurhuleni emergency services spokesperson, William Ntladi, says specialized foam tanker and water tanker fire engines were used to contain and extinguish the blaze:
