# AfriForum has expressed concerns over the rise in farm murders during the third quarter of this year. According to the organisation’s spokesperson for Community Safety, Jacques Broodryk, there has been a 21-percent increase in farm murders compared to the second quarter. AfriForum’s Community Safety Division documented 88 farm attacks, including 13 farm murders, between July and September, while between April and June, 73 farm attacks, including 23 murders, were recorded.
