# The inaugural council meeting of the eThekwini Metro in KwaZulu-Natal has been postponed to Wednesday. This comes after police had to escort a group of ANC and EFF supporters who disrupted the meeting yesterday evening. The ANC’s Thabani Nyawose was elected eThekwini Municipality council speaker. DA eThekwini mayoral candidate Nicole Graham says it is clear the ANC doesn’t have the numbers to win the mayorship position:
