Eskom anticipates profit in 2025 despite R55-billion loss in 2024 [SOUND]

# Eskom has reported a record 55-billion-rand loss for the 2024 financial year, driven largely by a 36.6-rand billion tax asset write-off linked to the unbundling of its transmission division. Despite this, the utility has seen significant progress, including no load-shedding in the past six months, reduced diesel costs, and increased sales.
