# The five-hour talks between Russia’s president Vladimir Putin and the president of France Emmanuel Macron in Moscow did not yield any results in an effort to ease tensions between Ukraine and Russia. Putin has assembled 70-percent of the military personnel and weapons it would need for a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Macron says right now the tension is increasing and the risk of destabilisation is increasing, adding that neither Russia nor the Europeans want chaos or instability. Macron will today hold talks with the president of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskiy in Kiev.
