# Music legend Elton John will be the headline performer at City of Hope’s Spirit of Life Gala in Los Angeles in October. City of Hope is one of the largest cancer research and treatment organisations in the US. At the gala, AEG Presents CEO, Jay Marciano, will be honoured with the prestigious Spirit of Life Award, for his longtime philanthropic and humanitarian efforts. Marciano leads the company that produced John’s Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour as well as Taylor Swift’s Eras tour.
