Elections 2024: Giwusa says freedom remains elusive for working-class [SOUND]

# General industries union Giwusa has declared the working class remains in chains 30 years after the end of apartheid. While acknowledging the historic victory over apartheid, the union condemns the ongoing socio-economic crises facing the working class, including poverty, unemployment and inadequate housing, which they blame on the ANC. Giwusa president Mametlwe Sebei criticises the lack of genuine alternatives offered by political parties in the upcoming elections:
