# Detectives from the police in Kwanobuhle in Kariega in the Eastern Cape are seeking the public’s assistance in tracing Nontsokolo Vena who might be able to assist them in a murder investigation. A police spokesperson, Gerda Swart, says it is alleged that a victim, Thanduxolo Blaauw, was assaulted on the 12th of September 2009 at a residence in Mzamane Street, Kwanobuhle.  Blaauw passed away in hospital soon afterwards as a result of the injuries sustained during the attack.
