# The municipality of Makhanda in the Eastern Cape has apologised to residents who have undergone water shortages this week due to reservoirs levels being low. A spokesperson says three of the reservoirs are at a level lower than 40 percent while the others are also not in a healthy state. Supply has also been interrupted because of the repairs at Worcester Street. Water supply has however been opened for all consumers. The Municipality says they do expect the lower levels may lead to some water pressure problems.
