# The Eastern Cape Department of Health has sent condolences to the families of the two patients who died in an accident while they were en-route to the Frontier Hospital. The ambulance that was rushing the two patients to the hospital collided head-on with another vehicle on the R61 Road between Cofimvaba and Komani yesterday. The department’s spokesperson, Sizwe Kupelo, says the patients were being referred from Cofimvaba Hospital to Frontier Regional Hospital when the accident happened:
