# E-hailing drivers in the Western Cape are expecting a response from Parliament on Tuesday after they handed over a memorandum calling on the government to review regulations on commissions charged by e-hailing service providers. They are demanding a 13-percent fee be charged as commission, 10-rand per kilometre and the option of “GO” to be removed from the apps. Western Cape MEC of Transport and Public Works Daylin Mitchell says he has met with the management of the two biggest e-hailing companies, Bolt and Uber, to discuss the concerns raised by their partners and drivers.
