# Discovery Bank’s clients saw an average 15-percent increase in spending last month, compared to other months. The bank’s analysis revealed significant spending surges on outdoor activities at 62-percent, 51-percent on movies, 32-percent on children’s toys, and 26-percent on dining out. Additionally, over 18-thousand flights were booked through the Vitality travel platform, with clients flying a total of 320 million kilometres to over 90 countries. While 42-percent of clients typically save a surplus, this dropped to 36-percent last month due to higher spending.
