Deputy president Mashatile leads delegation to Saudi-Africa summit in Riyadh

# Deputy president Paul Mashatile is leading the South African delegation to the inaugural Saudi Arabia-Africa summit in Riyadh, addressing crucial development issues such as education, health, humanitarian assistance, and economic development. The delegation includes International Relations and Cooperation minister Naledi Pandor, Trade, Industry and Competition minister, Ibrahim Patel and Mineral Resources and Energy deputy minister, Nobuhle Nkabane. Bilateral talks and a courtesy call on Prince Mohammed bin Salman are planned. Bilateral relations strengthened, with total trade reaching 80-billion-rand last year, solidifying Saudi Arabia as South Africa’s second-largest trading partner in the Middle East.
