# The Democratic Alliance has put forth a complaint to the Independent Electoral Commission on the 15-million-rand Chancellor House donation to the African National Congress. The DA wants the IEC to tighten up the political party funding act stating that the ANC will conceal more funding through the trust. In response, IEC deputy chief electoral officer for political party funding George Mahlangu says there is a two-phased compliance arrangement to the disclosure of donations:
