# The DA in KwaZulu-Natal says it will be writing to eThekwini Municipality city manager, Musa Mbhele, to ask that the forensic investigation into the 579-million-rand street light contract be tabled in this month’s council meeting. This follows the arrest of two suspects in possession of 52 LED streetlights worth 1.82-million-rand belonging to the city on Sunday. The DA’s Thabani Mthethwa says eThekwini residents remain in darkness while millions have supposedly been spent on installing and maintaining streetlights:
