There was huge excitement for the first major cricket tournament in the country in almost three decades, but the defending champion lost to New Zealand and India before its match against Bangladesh rained out. Disheartened fans have reportedly abandoned the tournament, saying they don’t want to watch teams they don’t know. They can’t even sell their unwanted tickets – or give them away for free.
