Cricket: Graeme Pollock in hospital after latest health setback

Cricket: Legendary South African batter Graeme Pollock is in hospital following a stroke ten days ago.  Pollock’s friend and old teammate, Spook Hanley, told Netwerk24 the 80-year-old was stable, but probably wouldn’t be leaving hospital any time soon. Over the past years he has being plagued by a growing list of ailments, including colon cancer and Parkinson’s Disease. Pollock was voted South Africa’s batsman of the 20th century in 1999. Despite isolation he is still fourth on the list for test averages on a list topped by the Australian great Don Bradman.
