Compliance operations yielding results in Tshwane

# The Tshwane Metro Police says compliance operations are ongoing to ensure business compliance as well as obedience to all traffic rules and regulations. This week, a police operation was conducted in Laudium to check the compliance of businesses and spaza shops regarding the sale of food products. Tshwane Metro Police’s Isaac Mahamba says during this operation, only four of the 15 businesses inspected had a valid operating licence. He adds that ten infringement fines were issued for non-compliance and two for contravening various foodstuff legislation.
