# Former public protector Thuli Madonsela will be the key speaker at a public rally at St George’s Cathedral in Cape Town on Wednesday. The event is titled: The State of the Nation – The People’s Voice. It will be streamed live for those who cannot attend. The programme is meant to provide a civil society and public perspective on the state of the nation. The event precedes president Cyril Ramaphosa’s delivery of the State of the Nation Address before the National Assembly on Thursday.
