City Power acts on illegal connections at Kibler Park Estate

# City Power’s Revenue Protection team disconnected two Kibler Park estates in Johannesburg after they were found illegally reconnected to the power grid. City Power spokesperson Isaac Mangena says the developer bypassed City Power infrastructure without permits, causing an estimated one-million-rand in losses. During the operation, one-thousand-kilogram of stolen cables worth 250-thousand-rand were seized. Mangena says that residents faced safety risks from exposed cables and that a warrant of arrest has been issued for the developer.
