# The City of Tshwane says it is still within the wet season and reminds its residents to remain alert at all times, especially residents whose homes are near river banks or situated within a floodplain. Communities in Gomora, Mamelodi West, Nellmapius and Sebothoma were hugely affected by flooding. The city’s spokesperson, Sipho Stuurman, is urging residents to use 107 toll-free on all cellular networks and landline phones for disasters and emergencies:
