Cape Town inspires environmental champions at Wallacedene Primary School [SOUND]

# The City of Cape Town says it is important that children are taught the value of protecting their environment. The metro recently held an event at Wallacedene Primary School in Kraaifontein, where learners were encouraged to take responsibility for their environment through proper waste disposal and recycling. Mayoral committee member for Urban Waste Management, Grant Twigg, says anti-litter mascot, Bingo, stressed the importance of throwing litter in the bin and separating recyclables from general waste:
