# Build One South Africa and the National Coloured Congress have been flagged for failing to submit their audited financial statements by the 30 September deadline. The Electoral Commission says all political parties are legally required to maintain proper financial records. During a media briefing, deputy chief electoral official Masego Sheburi said formal directions have been issued to both parties to ensure compliance:
