# A group of silent protestors dressed in blue has taken part in a global coastline rebellion at Kalk Bay harbour in Cape Town. Daily Maverick reports the call to action came from Argentina, where the government has given permission to Norway to conduct seismic surveys off its coast. Seismic surveys are also taking place on South Africa’s West Coast. Activists from 19 countries, including Peru and Germany, came out yesterday in resistance against companies searching for and drilling for oil and gas in oceans around the world.
