Australian doctors trying to re-attach surfer’s severed leg after shark attack

# Australian doctors are trying to re-attach a surfer’s severed leg that washed up after a shark attack. Twenty-three-year-old Kai McKenzie was attacked by a huge great white while surfing in New South Wales yesterday. He managed to get to the beach where an off-duty police member stemmed the bleeding by using his dog’s lease as a tourniquet. McKenzie’s leg washed up shortly afterwards and locals put it on ice and took it to the hospital. A GoFundMe page opened for his medical costs already attracted almost 900-thousand-rand.
