All hands on deck to remove 35-ton whale carcass in Cape Town [SOUND]

# A joint operation between the City of Cape Town and the National Sea Rescue Institute Hout Bay Station saw the successful removal of a 35-ton whale carcass from Hout Bay. The carcass was towed to the Hout Bay slipway using a specialised vessel provided by the NSRI. Mayoral committee member for Urban Waste Management, Grant Twigg, says the massive whale carcass was safely transported to the Vissershok Landfill:
