Afrirent restores fleet services to City of Johannesburg amid debt dispute

# Afrirent Fleet Management has resumed its services for the City of Johannesburg after grounding over four-thousand vehicles due to a 90-million-rand debt. The company holds a 30-month, 1.2-billion-rand contract awarded in 2021, supplying vehicles to critical entities including the Metro Police Department, City Power, and Pikitup. Afrirent’s CEO, Senzo Tsabedze, confirmed discussions with the metro over the unpaid debt, attributed to administrative inefficiencies.
