# A North West man will appear at the Mogwase Magistrates’ Court today for allegedly raping and attempting to kill his estranged wife. The suspect allegedly lured the woman to his home, where he assaulted, raped and doused the victim with petrol. Police spokesperson Amanda Funani says the accused allegedly threatened to set the woman alight but she managed to escape:
