The two fast bowlers have been left out of England’s 16-man squad to face the West Indies in next month’s Test series. Thirty-nine-year-old Anderson is England’s all-time leading wicket-taker in Tests with 640 dismissals, while 35-year-old Broad is second on that list, having taken 537 wickets.
