# A group of 153 Palestinian refugees were stuck on board a Global Airways flight for 12 hours at OR Tambo International Airport yesterday, after initially being denied entry into South Africa. The Border Management Authority says the group could not indicate the duration of their stay and did not have the customary departure stamps in their passports. However, the Gift of the Givers committed to accommodating the travellers. The BMA says 23 of the 153 refugees have transferred from South Africa to their final destinations, while the remaining 130 passengers were processed.
