1.4 magnitude earthquake confirmed for Cape Town on Wednesday

# Capetonians were right when they speculated a mini earthquake hit the Mother City Wednesday afternoon. The Council for Geoscience confirmed a quake with a magnitude of 1.4 happened around 5.37 pm. It says the analysis show the epicentre was localed along the Diep River, near Milnerton’s rural area. Several residents reported their experiences on social media, with some saying everything shook, rattled and rolled.
